The DropBox Battery Energy Storage Solution (BESS) marks the advent of a new era in global power storage and management. This approach circumvents the time-consuming and exorbitantly expensive process of upgrading the power grid itself, making the DropBox Battery Energy Storage Solution (BESS) a viable and timely solution. DropBox is a prime solution that can be rapidly and economically deployed to address a multitude of power challenges currently confronting governments, businesses, and households.

The BESS Series is designed to cater to a wide array of energy requirements. The largest variant is outfitted with a substantial 1MWh battery capacity and a robust 400kW inverter, all neatly enclosed within a compact, purpose-built 20-foot container. This pioneering system guarantees efficient energy storage, management, and distribution, providing answers to numerous power challenges that are prevalent in today’s world. The DropBox BESS Series is a high-voltage lithium-ion battery system with a wide temperature operating range, offering ultimate flexibility. It provides a reliable backup power supply for supermarkets, banks, schools, farms, small factories and more, to smooth the load curve and achieve peak load demand. It can also improve the stability of renewable systems and promote the application of renewable energy, such as EV charging and shore power.

The DropBox BESS has been meticulously crafted to fulfil the most rigorous specifications. All containers are manufactured in accordance with the highest global standards.

Specially Crafted Containers

It is crucial to highlight that our containers are not repurposed or recycled; they are newly produced with the explicit purpose of accommodating our Battery Energy Storage Solution (Bess). Rigorous testing ensures their robustness and functionality, making them suitable for various modes of transportation, including marine, road, and rail, underscoring our commitment to meticulous detail and strict adherence to quality standards.

Strength & Endurance

Each container bears a CSC (Convention for Safe Containers) seal and is certified to adhere to the most stringent ISO standards, ensuring its strength, durability, and safety.

Safety Measures

The containers are robustly constructed and feature advanced safety systems, allowing them to operate effectively in challenging environments such as construction sites, mining areas, and maritime settings. Containers relocated frequently only need inspection and recertification every five years, emphasising their durability and low maintenance requirements.

The Batteries

No other large-scale battery system has the power and flexibility that DropBox delivers to our customers.

The DropBox battery system is second to none. The batteries, produced by our partner Multiboxx, are constructed in series and are designed to give the optimal performance necessary for high-performance demands.

Our Lithium Ion batteries are designed to create a buffer between the Grid and the specific utility. This means that the DropBox Series can be installed anywhere without the requirement for costly infrastructure upgrading. The batteries are designed to fit into a Multiboxx proprietary rack system so that DropBox’s battery capacity can be scaled up as needed. Furthermore, to reduce downtime, the system has been designed to be modularised so that individual batteries can be replaced when needed.

THE WARRANTY

10 Year Limited Warranty

DropBox has a Limited Warranty for Multiboxx Inverters, along with the Ion batteries and accessories by Multiboxx for a period of ten years from the date of purchase.

The Limited Warranty also extends to the HMI & other auxiliary equipment such as the HVAC, alarm, and fire suppression systems for a period of one to five years depending.

This Limited Warranty only applies if the installation, commissioning, and maintenance schedule is adequately deployed and followed by a qualified person.

For more details on the Limited Warranty schedule, period, and qualified persons please refer to the DropBox Warranty Policy. This Limited Warranty only applies to a sales agreement between DropBox Green Energy Solutions Limited and the Buyer.
